Stay longer, experience more: nature, culture and culinary delights
Traumschleifen hiking trails start right on our doorstep – such as the 5-Valley Tour, the Rockenburger Urwaldweg (primeval forest route) or the Wasserdichter Spuren. For cycling tours through forests and vineyards, we rent e-bikes and give tips on the best routes along the Middle Moselle.
Trier is just a few kilometres from us and offers both shopping and culture, for example the Porta Nigra, the cathedral, the Constantine Basilica or the Rhineland Regional Museum. And Luxembourg with its “French flair” is a mere 40 minutes away by car.

On request, we are happy to organise a wine tasting at the Nik Weis St. Urbanshof family winery in Leiwen or at one of the many winegrowers of our aquaintance.
A stay is perfectly complemented by culinary highlights from our country house and gourmet kitchen: contemporary cuisine using products from our region and accompanied by local wines.
All prices are per person in a double room. The single room supplement is 20 € per night.

On the first evening we serve a 4-course menu with regional products as an introduction to the wine and culinary weekend in our country house.
On the second evening, there are 5 courses of the gourmet menu with diverse highlights that characterise our region from a culinary point of view.

3-day Package “A TRIP TO THE COUNTRYSIDE”
- 3 nights including breakfast, three evening menus
- First evening: 3 courses in the restaurant Hasenpfeffer,
- Second evening: 5 courses in our gourmet restaurant
- Third evening 4 courses in our gourmet restaurant.
The package includes three nights with breakfast and three evening meals.
On the first evening we serve a 3-course menu in our restaurant Hasenpfeffer. Experience authentic country cuisine with ingredients from the local forests, fields and rivers.
The next day starts with a hearty breakfast – after which various activities are open to you, such as excursions to Trier or Luxembourg, hiking opportunities or cycling tours. In the evening, we welcome you in the gourmet restaurant with a 5-course menu.
On the third day, if you wish, we can organise a wine tasting at the family vineyard or with winegrowers of our acquaintance in the beautiful Mosel-Saar-Ruwer wine region.
To round off your stay at Rüssels Landhaus, we serve a 4-course gourmet menu in the gourmet restaurant, seasonally composed with the contemporary touch of our award-winning cuisine.
